New Construction

Following sustainability guidelines developed in concert with the University of Hawaii, the expanded campus is designed to be an indoor/outdoor “Living Classroom.” Learning will take place in the context of environmental stewardship. Sustainable elements include: natural ventilation, day lighting, rainwater collection, water efficient landscaping, local materials, and photovoltaic panels.
